The University West Pet Clinic Story
In 1976, Dr. Cyrus Starch and Dr. James Yoder opened the doors to their second animal hospital in the greater Des Moines area. University West Pet Clinic in Clive, a sister clinic to Starch Pet Hospital, has been a staple of the community ever since, providing exceptional veterinary care and outstanding client service.
In 1992, Dr. Starch and Dr. Yoder sold both practices to Dr. Brian Martz and Dr. Michael Henning. Since the hospital changed hands, we’ve endeavored to uphold the stellar reputation that Dr. Starch and Dr. Yoder worked so hard to establish, and to continue the valuable relationships they built with the people and pets of the area.
